Overview:-
Year 1 and 3 are full time in College. Year 2 students undertake a 36 week paid internship in the hospitality management, design industry arranged and supported by college staff.
Working While Studying:-
- Can apply for part time job after 1 month of starting class. To help this,
- College has an in-house student employment service.
- Can work for 20 hours a week.
- Minimum wage earns £5.57 per hour.
Living Cost:-
Cost around £6000 to live in Edinburgh for a year
- Accommodation on lodging - £500 per month including following items
- Fooding - £35 per week
- Bed and breakfast - £69 per week
- Communication - £50 per week
- Transportation - £30 per week
- Other miscellaneous expenses - £50 per week
Note: Make sure that you have enough money to live on before you go there.
Fresh Talent initiative:-
- Graduates can stay and work in Scotland for two years after accomplishing their course
- For this they don't need to have work permit.
- This initiative is for certain course only.
- Those who had completed HND, first Degree Master Degree or PhD from Scottish
- College or University.
